Elizabeth Fust

Elizabeth has been writing since she was a little girl and plans to still be writing when she is a little old lady. Elizabeth is the author of the picture books Wooly and the Good Shepherd and The Hungry Kitten’s Tale. She has also written many short stories and feature articles about her adventures. Elizabeth’s writing is greatly inspired by the beauty surrounding her home where she lives between Lake Superior and the mountains of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

David Stricklen

In a former life, David was an airport police chief with 30 years experience in law enforcement. After retiring, David went all in on his creative side. He has written a series of three sought after middle grade fantasy adventure books: Beneath and Beyond, Through the Eyes of the Beast, and The Heart of the Swarm. His new release is a contemporary MG fiction entitled Ripley Robinson and the Worm Charmer, which is reviewer recommended by Kirkus Review and featured in their October 2019 magazine.

Katherine Cowley

Katherine Cowley is the author of The Secret Life of Miss Mary Bennet. The second and third books in the series will be published in 2022. Her blog, “Jane Austen Writing Lessons,” was selected by The Write Life as one of the “Best 100 Websites for Writers in 2021.” Katherine has a bachelor’s degree in Humanities and a master’s degree in English, both from Brigham Young University. She teaches writing at Western Michigan University, and she has previously taught writing, film, and humanities, and worked as a radio producer for NPR-affiliate station Classical 89 and a documentary film producer.

Janeen Zaio

Janeen Zaio is the author of the middle-grade adventure book, The Treasure With a Face, which follows the journey of a young treasure hunter who resolves to meet Jesus as part of his plan to find the Ark of the Covenant.
After graduating Summa Cum Laude with a marketing degree at Bradley University, Ms. Zaio combined her passion for cars and writing to develop print ads, training materials, and business plans for an automobile manufacturer. Her most exciting moment in the position was hearing the CEO of the company present a speech that she wrote to a large audience.
